Christianna Apartments

We had the most wonderful stay in Crete and couldn’t have asked for a better apartment. It was absolutely beautiful, incredibly spacious and felt like a real home away from home.

There were so many thoughtful touches throughout our stay, from essentials like detergent and washing bags to the lovely welcome gifts of fresh figs and homemade wine - such a special touch and very much appreciated.

We particularly loved the outdoor space. The pool area was beautiful and we spent so much time relaxing there. Having a fridge and outdoor kitchen was fantastic, and the huge shaded area meant we could enjoy being outside even during the hottest part of the day.

The location couldn’t have been better. You are literally a stone’s throw from the beach and within easy walking distance of all the amenities, restaurants and bars in Almyrida.

The host was also fantastic - very attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. They checked in to make sure everything was okay, and any messages or questions we had were dealt with promptly. We always felt like we could reach out if we needed anything, which made the whole stay feel incredibly easy and relaxing.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely recommend this apartment. We’d love to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Christianna Apartments. The facilities were lovely, especially the outdoor pool area. The location of the property was great too, with everything you need only a short walk away. Our host, Chrysoula, was very attentive and made us feel so welcome. She was kind, checked in with us regularly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend this villa to others

We booked both apartments for our holiday with two families. for this purpose it was great toe have both private acces to the very nice pool area. The apartments are well equipped, airco in every room, good beds. The hospitality of Chrysoula was wonderful. She welcomed us with local sweets and had lots of tips for visiting the surroundings. There are lovely hikes in nearby areas and lots of other excursions to make. Vamos is a small place, but with good supermarkets and nice restaurants. We stayed here early May and it was quiet and peaceful.
The only recommendation for the apartments we have, is to change the lightbulbs in the lamps into a softer and warmer type, which will make it feel more cosy at the evening.

Having visited Greece as a family for more than 40 years we have experienced many, many apartments and this was by far the most well equipped and well thought out. Greek beds are renowned for being pretty ropey but these were so comfortable with lovely bedding. The sofa was way bigger than the photos suggested as way the whole apartment! Anything you can think of was provided, from fluffy towels and beach towels to dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, first aid kit and a welcome package including wine and watermelon. The pool area was beautiful and the outdoor kitchen a lovely surprise. The pool itself was the perfect size and had a a large shelf at one end which was child depth. The host Chrysoula was very sweet and helpful, and brought us figs from her garden and local raki. All in all we had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would recommend it to anyone

The apartment was immaculately presented with everything a visitor could want, the pool was just right and the BBQ area was well equipped and ideal for self catering. Additionally, Chrissy was the most helpful and polite host and took pride in everything about the property and support for us prior to and during our holiday. A fantastic place in a lovely location. Highly recommended. Plenty of choices for eating and a couple of coffee shops and cocktail bars on the sea front. We hired and car which gave us the opportunity to explore Chania and other local areas of interest. We also took a trip to the water park at Heraklion and a morning fishing trip on a local fishing boat. Plenty to keep any holiday makers of any age entertained.

Very clean, very nice host, and very well positioned in Almyrida with 2 min walk to the beach. Love the new swimming pool area with kitchen and lounge. Highly recommended.
